Bio for Sophie Blom
Sophie Blom currently works as Managing Editor at The New Quarterly: Canadian Writers on Writing, and recently completed her Master of Publishing degree from Simon Fraser University. Formerly a creative writing student focussing on poetry, she let her passion for workshops lead her to a position on the editorial board of Fathom, Dalhousie University’s undergraduate creative writing journal, writing poetry reviews for the League of Canadian Poets, and to marketing positions at HarperCollins Canada and Wolsak and Wynn Publishers in Hamilton.
