Established in 1983, the Hamilton Poetry Centre works to support and encourage the writing and appreciation of poetry. Located in Hamilton, Ontario, the Hamilton Poetry Centre conducts workshops and hosts Canada Council sponsored readings.

And our last event of the season is our Open Reading! This is always a fun evening, and a great way to share your work. Everyone is welcome to attend and/or read. This event is FREE!

Date: Thursday, May 19th
Doors Open at 6:30 pm, reading starts at 7pm.
LocationArtword Artbar, 15 Colbourne St., Hamilton  (half a block from James St N., 1 block south of Barton)

Please arrive by 6:45 to register to read.  Event will last about 1 to 1 ½ hours
Each reader will have about 5 minutes, depending on how many sign up.
Available for purchase – alcoholic drinks and pop, fantastic food
