Established in 1983, the Hamilton Poetry Centre works to support and encourage the writing and appreciation of poetry. Located in Hamilton, Ontario, the Hamilton Poetry Centre conducts workshops and hosts the occasional open mic event.

Hamilton Poetry Centre runs a monthly Workshop Series. All welcome – poets and poetry lovers!
This is a great opportunity to receive thoughtful peer feedback on your poems in progress, or just enjoy joining in the discussion. We meet at the Westdale Library on the third Thursday of most months, (generally a December rest), from 4:45 to 6:45.
